These are the course timeline you can expext with Actor Agent Masterclass
Live Lessions
You will participate in a 90 minute live lesson from Greg Apps every week with a Q&A. Lessons are on Mondays at 6:00PM AEST GMT +10.
Self Taping Scripts
You will be given scripts each week for self-tape or improvisation exercises. You will receive feedback on these weekly.
Final Week
In the final week you prepare a self tape of your own choosing, and then receive private personal tailored feedback about how to move your career.

Greg Apps
Greg Apps celebrates 52 years in the film industry this year. As an actor, he worked across stage, radio, television, and film, appearing in Sunday Too Far Away, Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith, and Mad Dog Morgan alongside Denis Hopper. On stage, he played Brad in the original Australian production of The Rocky Horror Show—and claims his legs still look great in fishnets.
As a casting director, Greg has cast over 85 feature films, including Chopper, Romper Stomper, Mission Impossible II, and Knowing. He served on the Australian Film Institute Board for seven years and was named one of the 20 Most Influential People in the Australian Film Industry by IF Magazine in 2004. He was also the inaugural President of the Casting Guild of Australia.
A passionate educator, Greg has taught at NIDA, WAAPA, QUT, VCA, Flinders Uni, and more. He has pioneered a unique approach to actor self-tapes, blending digital tools, social media, and his deep expertise in acting, casting, and auditioning.

The choice of agent that is right for you (and the agent also is willing to take you on!) is a personal journey. This course will empower you to make choices. Show you how to evaluate which agent is best for you and how to secure them. Don’t forget the agent is working for you not the other way around. It is vitally important you and your agent are on the same page with your career.
Will I be doing scenes during the course?
Yes. Casting Directors now look at self-tapes in judging an actor far more than they look at a resume. At The Audition Technique, we believe the astute use of self-taping scenes and improvisations is the foundation to building your career. Both with your agent and Casting Directors; but it has to be done correctly. This is what we teach.
What if I am unable to attend a live lesson?
All lessons are recorded and made available to you through our Google Drive platform so that you can access in your own time.
How is the personal feedback delivered?
Greg provides feedback to all members during the lessons – even week one! The final feedback is private and delivered by email. In this way, Greg provides private comments directly to you about your work and empowers you to take ownership in your career pathway. He gives you strategies to move forward.
