If you’re brand new to the industry, this is the perfect place to begin. You’ll:
- Build confidence in yourself and your skills

- Discover how to start your journey on the right track
Because even the greatest actors were beginners once. The difference is — they chose the right place to start.
🎬 Every meeting is an audition — every audition is an opportunity.
Auditions and industry meetings aren’t just about showing what you can do — they’re about making the kind of impression that leads to the next call, the next role, the next step in your career.
This training shows you how to transform those moments from “just another meeting” into career-defining opportunities.
Every Interaction Counts
🎭 Every meeting with an agent or Casting Director is an opportunity — a chance to be remembered, to spark interest, and to move your career forward.
But here’s the truth: it’s also a chance to be overlooked. And once that door closes, it rarely opens again.
That’s why this 7-lesson course (just one hour of focused material) is designed to equip you with everything you need to turn first meetings into career-defining opportunities.
Taught from the perspective of veteran Casting Director Greg Apps, this training gives you the insider knowledge to make sure you leave the kind of impression decision-makers can’t ignore.
✨ Don’t waste the meeting. Make it matter.

Turn meetings and auditions into career opportunities
🌱 If you’re at the very beginning of your acting career, it can feel like you’re standing at the bottom of a very tall ladder. It’s exciting, yes — but also a little scary.
This Beginner Course is designed for actors who:
- ❓ Just don’t know where to start
- 😅 Feel overwhelmed by the industry
- 🎬 Want to finally get their acting career off the ground
Because here’s the truth: no one knows how far your acting career can take you. But every journey starts with a first step — and in this industry, it all begins with Auditions and Meetings.
✨ Start smart. Start confident. Start here.
Remember every time your agent, or a Casting Director sees you they are forming an opinion. Here we learn how to make that opinion a positive one.
Your presentation and attitude is paramount to how you are perceived. No matter who you are meeting, it is important to make them feel important.
Remember, this is their meeting. What sort of research do you need to do to not only be remembered whilst in the room but more importantly when you’re not in the room?
What do you know about the person conducting your meeting / audition? More importantly what do they know about you and what part of you are you going to be portraying?
Learn how to present what the Decision Maker is looking for and to dress accordingly. What person or type of you are you going to show me when you come in to audition? Learn that different people need to see different sides and how to delineate between them.
Ok. You have the audition but what is the Casting Director looking for?
Hint: It’s not the best actor! What special qualities do you have? What is the most important quality to have as an actor? It’s these qualities that we want to see, that we are looking for, in EVERY audition.
Learn what we are looking for in the call back session of your audition and why this is so important for actors to know.
In an Audition - what is the difference between the two?
This course is not teaching you about stage craft but about auditioning for screen.
Without screen qualities it is easy to come over as a ‘try hard’ and sycophant. Learn how to present your genuine self. In other words don’t push it!
In this lesson we learn the second most valuable tool you need as an actor and how telling the truth can NOT get you remembered!
We start to bring together everything we have talked about
In this lesson we are talking about the third critical quality that you must supply to be welcomed, remembered, and fascinating in face to face experiences.
But there is one factor that is so often ignored by actors in the audition space. We all do it on a daily basis but it seems so easily bypassed in the audition space. Learn what this is and how important it is to deliver an audition that engages with both your reader and your Decision Maker.
This course packs 7 short, sharp lessons (all under 10 minutes) that give you the real-world tools to turn auditions and meetings into career opportunities.

If you are serious about your acting then you need to invest in your career by enrolling in both the Self taping School and Creating Compelling Characters courses. These courses will educate and equip you to be audition ready and express confidence in the characters you are born to play.

What I loved about this course is it's structured in such a way that, step by step, you learn new behaviours to assist with not only your audition delivery but also your career delivery. You learn to see your work as a Casting Director might. You learn to deliver character in a more memorable way. And you learn how to put your best foot forward.
TAT has helped me understand my branding and provided tools and the environment for self-discovery in my acting and camera technique. It has challenged and empowered me to approach auditions with a sense of play, something I never thought I'd be able to do! Greg Apps 1-on-1 feedback is truly a gift. The experience of exchanging support with international classmates is invaluable. I highly recommend this class!
